An Update and Some CDs
I’m a few weeks late, as per usual; better late than never, I suppose. I’ve been on tour for a few weeks with SPACED, and today is our last day before we head home. Should be a blast. Besides the live music aspect, I enjoy stopping in various record shops across the country and grabbing various forms of physical media whenever I’m on tour. What musician doesn’t?
My mind is a bit scrambled at the moment, but the main two shops I remember are Waterloo Records & Video in Austin, TX, and Wax Trax Records in Denver, CO. Both great spots, and though I primarily pick up vinyl, I’ve been getting back into CDs lately.
I suppose it’s a price thing–I can get four to five used CDs for the price of a record. I have what I picked up above and plan on having a few more blogs out before the week ends. I’ve been shooting footage of my travels and figured a compilation of the shots could be intriguing.
I’ll also discuss some movies I’ve seen in the last few weeks in another post. We’ll see! Regardless, I appreciate you all for supporting my writing endeavors and hope you’re enjoying the fall. I have mixed feelings about the season, but enjoy it for the horror-movie angle. Talk soon.
